Many self-proclaimed guardians of our airwaves target pornography, excessive violence and bad language. This limits perceptions of life around us. Writers and directors are chasing ratings, whatever the cost to society. Their twisted image sets standards where the dysfunctional is portrayed as normal and every-day; and often so it becomes.
